Peter joined the Maranatha Team that brings you Café Palazzo coffee as the Plant Manager in May 2006.
Peter’s role sees him:
- Leading and managing factory operations including all manufacturing activities within the Plant
- Making day to day decisions regarding production planning, materials management and process methods to achieve continuous improvement of operational efficiency.
- Managing factory team to ensure coffee production runs smoothly and timely on a day to day basis.
- Providing a safe place of work for all team members, ensuring that Maranatha at all times complies with relevant environmental and safety legislation.
What Peter likes about his role and working in the coffee industry:
“ The variety of challenges relating to all facets of operations management which my role offers. The things I enjoy most about working in the industry are the Aromas, taste of coffee, participating in a daily cupping’s to determine roasted coffee aroma and taste profiles to decide compliance to quality standards and the complexity of the coffee journey from bean to cup. “
